2010 Resolutions?

January 2nd, 2010 · No Comments

As New Year’s Eve comes and goes people everywhere make resolutions in an effort to change one’s lifestyle.  For many, resolutions are a hope to kick bad habits such as smoking, drinking to much, or curbing hard partying.  Others opt to look toward positive change, the most common resolution being a promise to go to the gym, lose weight, or eat healthy.  While there are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ resolutions, I believe we can all agree that being kinder to each other is absolutely necessary, especially here in New York City.  New Yorkers have a history of arrogance and anger which surely does no one any good.  The next time you are in your car stuck in traffic, or walking in a rush down a busy sidewalk, make the decision to relax and smile to your fellow New Yorker, instead of swearing at the person in your way or honking your horn repeatedly.  Only we can make the world more enjoyable to live in by deciding to think and behave in a positive manner.  Happy New Years.
