229 North 8th street is a failed luxury condo building that is expected to succeed as a Williamsburg condo rental project.  The 6 story luxury residence is located in the heart of Williamsburg, just steps from the Bedford L train.  With such a phenomenal location and rare amenities such as parking, shared & private roofdecks, fitness center, and top condo finishes, I expect the residence will fill quickly.  The NO FEE 1 bedroom rentals should be listed around $2,300.  The large 1,000+sqft 2 bedroom units should move for roughly $2,700.  Penthouse duplex’s are massive and feature Manhattan views and private rooftop cabanas.  At first sight, I was particularly impressed with the decor and overall quality finishes of the common areas.  Unlike many Williamsburg condo rentals, 229 North 8th street units are quiet large and priced well.  The grand opening is schedule for Saturday August 22nd.
