Regardless of what politicians and economic specialist say, the economic outlook is meek.  With so many businesses shutting their doors, and millions without work, a rebound will not come as quickly as many hope.  Skeptical critics constantly critique President Obama’s stimulus plan, even though it is to early to expect to see any solid results.  As many business’ are struggling to stay afloat, some have permanently closed their doors, like the ‘Mom & Pops’ owned gift shop seen above.  Even business owners in hot spots, like above Bedford ave in Williamsburg, are feeling the effects of the slumping economy.  Other buisnesses have decided to expand, like the Developers Group (below).  Time will tell if this real estate company will be able to keep it’s doors open in a neighborhood were aptsandlofts.com and corcoran are the heavyweights.
