Northside of Williamsburg Condo Going Rental?

April 22nd, 2009 · 2 Comments

When Warehouse Eleven first landed on the Williamsburg Market in 2008 there was a lot of hype about the large family oriented condo building.  Advertising swept through Brooklyn and sales were expected to move quickly during last year’s summer months, however condos did not move as the developer had hoped.  Now as the spring and summer months approach the condo remains vacant.  It seems that many condo projects have suffered the downturn of the housing market and most end up going rental.  I expect that Warehouse Eleven will become a rental building, and as it is located in a hot north side location, it should rent quickly.   Regardless of the obvious, many condo projects are still being built, like the property directly across the street from Warehouse Eleven located on the corner of North 11th street and Roebling street(seen below).  Will the developers go rental immediately?

What a joke. I’m sure they will try to rent 2 bedrooms for $3600 or some overpriced number.
