After months of chatter the Continental finally made its debut early July. The Karl Fischer building is easily recognizable from its grey bricks and sleek floor to ceiling multi-panel windows. From the 5th floor and up the Continental is all about views and views. Most units offer multiple balconies allowing for panoramic views of Mid-Town Manhattan and the Williamsburg Bridge. Unlike some other Fischer buildings found on McCarren park (not to get confused with the army of grey brick Tahoe projects) the Continental does not have high end appliances like Bosch and Viking, however all units are very spacious and the flooring and overall finishes are top notch. For car owners access to Manhattan is as good as it gets, with the Williamsburg Bridge entrance at the buildings doorstep. When realtors began to show the building the prices were set high, but after a recent adjustment these luxury condo rentals are beginning to move quickly.
